I have a physical FreeNAS server built out of an old mini tower with desktop hardware. This is certainly not an enterprise build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are differences between the vitrual and physical build I will explain them as I go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My virtual environment for these posts are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Management network 192.168.2.0\/24 with a gateway of 192.168.2.2<br>ISCSI network 192.168.10.0\/24 with a gateway of 192.168.10.2<br>16GB ISCSI disk for OS<br>4 x 10GB ISCSI disks for data storage<br>The VM is an ESXi VM configured as Linux Other 64bit. Using standard SCSI disks and E1000 NICs.
